Ranked No. 1 in Vibration Testing

A key result of the JCAA/JG-PP study on the reliability of lead-free solders is that in vibration testing of wave soldered PDIP components Nihon Superior’s SN100C outperformed the 95.5Sn-3.9Ag-0.6Cu alloy as well as 63Sn-37Pb by a substantial margin.

This result was reported in the JCAA/JG-PP JTR (Joint Test Report) Executive Summary released on April 4‚ 2006.
The JG-PP (Joint Group on Pollution Prevention) is a partnership between the Military Services (U.S. Army‚ Navy‚ Marines and Air Force)‚ NASA (National Aeronautical and Space Administration)‚ DLA (the Defense Logistics Agency‚ and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency)‚ chartered by the JLC (Joint Logistics Commanders) to reduce or eliminate hazardous materials or processes within the acquisition and sustainment communities. In this project the JG-PP is partnered with the JCAA (Joint Council on Aging Aircraft).
