※1:Osaka Prefectural Institute of Public Health: Air levels were measured with the instrument 1m above the ground. Measurements were made at 10am every day until December 27, 2011 and then every 2nd Wednesday.
※2:ICRP(International Commission on Radiological Protection) Publication 103
The 2007 Recommendations of the International Commission on Radiological Protection Dose Limits in normal exposure:0.11μSv/h (1mSv/Year)
Measurements were made in accordance with the ICRP International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP)※2 and results were checked for consistency with those obtained by the Osaka Prefectural Institute of Public Health※1.
It is clear from these results that throughout the entire period since the earthquake, radiation levels on goods passing through the Osaka Distribution Center have stayed below the ICRP limits for normal exposure.
Nihon Superior will continue to monitor radiation levels to provide its customers with an assurance of the safety and reliability of its products.
