We have been seeking to reduce the environmental burden of electronics manufacturing by promoting the use of lead-free and totally halogen-free products. Nihon Superior’s solder alloy products do not include any tin that has come from the conflict area of the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjoining countries. To ensure that our customers are not affected by possible leakage of radiation from the First Nuclear Power Facility of the Tokyo Electric Power Company at Fukushima resulting from the damage caused by the recent earthquake and tsunami Nihon Superior have been carrying out checks of radioactivity of both incoming purchases and shipped products in accordance with the requirements of IAEA (the International Atomic Energy Agency) and IATA (the International Air Transport Association). The integration of three functions, Research and Development, Technical Service and Quality Assurance in the new R&D Center provides a very effective system of customer support for the introduction of new products and technologies to provide practical solutions for productivity and reliability. |
